Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into a binding contract, and a Florida resident who has lived in Florida for at least the past 6 months. You agree to provide accurate information.
Description of Service
The Quick Divorce is not a law firm and does not provide legal services or legal advice. The founder is a Florida-licensed attorney who designed this platform but is not acting as your attorney through this site. No attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of this website.
Account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Use a strong, unique password, keep your login details confidential, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
Fees & Refunds
Pricing, scope, and refund eligibility are described in our Money-back policy. Court filing fees are paid directly to the Clerk of Court, are set by your county, and are non-refundable.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, or harmful conduct; no reverse engineering, scraping, or interference with the service.
Intellectual Property
All software, content, templates, and trademarks are owned by The Quick Divorce or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited license to use it to provide the service.
Document Retention
We store the documents in your case, both the files you upload (such as a driver's license or financial disclosure) and the court forms generated for you, only while your case is active. When your case closes, whether completed or inactive, you have 30 days to download your complete packet, after which we permanently delete those documents from our systems and do not keep copies, except that documents needed to complete your court filing may be handled by our filing team solely for that purpose and disposed of when no longer needed. We do retain a permanent activity ledger, a record of which documents were created, uploaded, exchanged between the parties, and downloaded, and the dates of each, to evidence compliance with mandatory disclosure. The ledger does not contain the contents of your documents.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED IN YOUR CASE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE QUICK DIVORCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO THE QUICK DIVORCE.
Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
You and The Quick Divorce agree that any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by either the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or JAMS, selected at The Quick Divorce's discretion, under that administrator's consumer arbitration rules, seated in Miami-Dade County, Florida. YOU AND WE WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual claim that qualifies in a Florida small-claims court. OPT-OUT: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@thequickdivorce.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; include your name, account email, and a clear statement that you opt out.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Venue
Exclusive venue for any non-arbitrable dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
