ONLINE MEDIATION
Florida Licensed Family Law Attorney & Florida Certified Family Law Mediator
Resolve your divorce, custody, or family law dispute from wherever you are, by secure video conference, with a Florida licensed family law attorney and Florida Certified Family Law Mediator who has handled Florida family law cases for over two decades.
Aliette Hernandez Carolan, Esq. holds both credentials, a licensed Florida Bar attorney (Bar No. 714291, admitted 2004) and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator since 2009 (Florida Bar profile; Super Lawyers profile).
Twenty-two years as a Florida family law attorney means the process accounts for how the agreement will actually hold up once it is filed with the court.
Sessions happen over secure video conference, with private breakout rooms available if you and the other party prefer to negotiate separately rather than in a single joint call.
Sessions can typically be scheduled faster than a court hearing date, and can be arranged around work schedules, including evenings, subject to availability.
Reaching agreement through mediation avoids the time and expense of a contested court process.
The free call is a good fit if you are not sure mediation is the right step yet, or you have questions about the process. If you already know you want to move forward, you can go straight to scheduling.
Sessions are billed at $450/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Most straightforward cases resolve within one to two sessions.
You and the other party join a secure video call. Sessions can run as a joint conversation or with private rooms, depending on what works best for your situation.
Once you reach agreement, you will receive a written settlement agreement or parenting plan reflecting the terms, ready for the next step in your case.
PRICING
$450 per hour, 2-hour minimum
$900 minimum per session. Most uncontested matters resolve in one to two sessions. There is no separate consultation fee if you book your free 15-minute call first.
If you started your paperwork with The Quick Divorce and you and your spouse have not yet agreed on every term, property division, parenting time, child support, or alimony, online mediation can help you finalize those terms before you file. Mediation here is independent of and does not replace The Quick Divorce’s document platform; it is a separate service to help you reach agreement on the terms that go into your paperwork.
